National Day Of Remembrance
Thursday 6th June:
A special time to remember & reflect.
Various national events will be taking place over the course of the day.
8.00 am National Proclamation – National Event
11.oo am Poems for Schools – National Event
6.00 pm Bell Ringers – Holy Cross Church will be ringing out
9.00 pm Gathering around the tree “Remembering In Red” – The Square, Ramsbury
9.10 pm Air Raid Siren – The Square, Ramsbury
9.15 pm International Tribute & lighting of the beacons alongside a 2 minute silence. – National Event – Ramsbury does hope to light a beacon, we will be observing the 2 minute silence.
