National Day Of Remembrance
Thursday 6th June:
A special time to remember & reflect.
Various national events will be taking place over the course of the day.
Here in Ramsbury:
6.oo pm The Holy Cross bell rings will ring for 30 minutes
8.45 pm Gather at the tree in the square
9.00 pm The Air raid siren will sound
9.05 pm Reverend Beth Hutton will address those present & will lead us into a 2 minutes silence.
9.15 pm Major General Lizzie Faithfull – Davies will read the national tribute
The tree will be light up & weather permitting a beacon will be lit on Springs Hill alongside a green flare.
