  • The Parish Council comprises fifteen Councillors, assisted by the Clerk to the Council, who are responsible for • advising the Wiltshire Council on local Planning issues;
  • maintaining the Play Areas & Equipment;
  • maintaining the various public Rights of Way, and
  • managing the provision of various services such as grass cutting, emergency heating & shelter.The Council produces a range of booklets and other documentation on matters relating to life in our community. A Freedom of Information document lists the information available from Ramsbury & Axford Parish Council and gives other details about its procedures.

Recent publications (available from the Post Office) include: • Rights of Way map, a collection of walks in and around Ramsbury and Men of Ramsbury & Axford in WW1. Wiltshire Council produce many publications including a Householders’ Guide for Emergencies.

Members of the public are welcome at all Parish Council meetings and have the opportunity to raise issues under the Public Forum agenda item.
